I have several books to review but the Olympics are on, so that will have to wait. For sixteen glorious days every two years, I care about sports and not much else. It’s like a vacation from my problems.

Still, I have a couple pictures to share. I cross stitch as I watch the events, and I’ve made a lot of progress on my Poe-inspired raven. Four more pages of pattern to go.

I also have some pictures of a delicate little mouse skull my kid found in our backyard. She was very excited; she’s been carefully cleaning it and bleaching it with hydrogen peroxide. (My kid is a little weird and it’s entirely my fault.)

But the U.S. is about to beat Montenegro in water polo so I have to get back to watching.
