I got ambitious this year and handmade Christmas gifts for my two younger siblings. I used the “homemade noodles” pattern from Alice’s Embrace. My original idea was to make the blankets in two different patterns, but this pattern was so easy and fun I stuck with it for both projects.
Since they’re gifts, I spent extra for nice yarn–Berroco Modern cotton/modal mix. One of my sibs has a vegan household so I wanted a nice soft yarn with no wool, and this one is really nice. Worth the money.
I still have to weave the ends on the blue one but I’m so excited to be done I wanted to share my fluffy blanket progress. Who knows? Maybe after New Year’s I’ll make one for myself. That yarn does have a few goth-friendly colors . . .
