There’s a killdeer laying eggs at the park. It has a little nest in the gravel, right next to the path from the parking lot. The park’s been so empty the bird is pretty relaxed. It let me just walk right up and take a photo. She’s a cool bird and I hope we get to see her chicks running behind her in a few weeks.
